The Pickleball Education Program is underway!
The
Pickleball Education Group composed of some of the top Retired Physical
Education Teachers in the country is bringing pickleball to Collier
County Schools (see Pickleball in Schools). The program has also been
introduced to the AMI Kids program http://www.amikids.org in Big
Cypress, Florida. We are working with David Lawrence Center to bring pickleball to their clients in the hopes that their addictions can transfer over to pickleball as many of us have witnessed.
These programs are rewarding and
important to give people in our community an alternative means to get exercise and
learn how to work together in life.
We are in need of equipment such as nets, paddles, balls, safety glasses and more to provide for these undertakings!
