The Pickleball Education Group composed of some of the top Retired Physical Education Teachers in the country is bringing pickleball to Collier County Schools (see Pickleball in Schools).
We are in need of equipment such as nets, paddles, balls, safety glasses and more to provide for the schools. Donations can be made to our non profit Pickleball For All Corp a 501 (c)3 company. Contact Jim Ludwig at pickleball34104@gmail.com or 239-784-2242.
To get our program off the ground a very generous donation from Teksoft Ventures http://www.teksoftventures.com, allowed us to purchase 50 paddles and balls to have the right tools for the educators to teach the children at Avalon Elementary School, Naples, FL. Debbie Noble worked with Laura Mahn at Avalon to put a program together that the students loved.
We are working with Tracy Bowen of the Collier County Schools Program to provide pickleball throughout the county. Also, with the support of Commissioner Donna Fiala and Dr. Francine Eufemia this program is having great success!
